Chunk 666!

I promise not to make this a journal of local events and groups, but I simply have to do a write up on Chunk 666. Portland has a crazy bicycle scene.
When we lived on Burnside at the base of the west hills, every Sunday night around 10 or so we would hear "wizzzwizzzwizzzwizzzzWOOHOO!zzzwizzzwizzz". If you looked out the window you would see many bicyclists flying by after going down the mile or so of 8% grade. They ride an elevator to the top of the hill (Portland has the deepest subway station in the United States, it allows people to take the light rail to the zoo). They are the Zoobombers.
Anyway, back to the purpose of this whole article. Chunk 666 make some pretty interesting bikes and their website is very entertaining.
