So I was looking at my server logs, and I notice that one of my most popular articles is the DIY arc welder. In that article (or the comments, I can't remember), I said I thought it would be even cooler if someone came up with a Homemade TIG.

Well...

When I looked at the article, down at the bottom was a comment from... and can you believe this? The builder of a TIG! With a website!. And a very detailed one at that.

Why buy a TIG welder for waaaay too much money when you can make one out of an alternator and an electric motor?
