Feature: My Speakers
Date: Thu, July 7, 2005
Back when I moved my server from the colocation facility I had down in Klamath Falls to Portland, my speaker construction website was running on a separate server. When the colo facility changed owners, the new owner shut down the server that was running my speaker website.
Fast forward to last week, when someone asked me what had happened to it, it goaded me into finally getting the backup for it off of my old laptop, and setting it up on the BuildDiary website.
So, if you haven't before, take a look at my build of a pair of Db616tl speakers. I'm listening to them right now as a matter of fact; and I still like them just as much as when I built them.
Also, take a look at Mike Beauchamp's webpage, were if you do a little digging you can find several DIY projects, and just some generally interesting reading. Seems like a really cool guy. Oh, and he also built a pair of Dave Brown speakers, the predecessor to the ones I have -- the Db61tl.

Cecilia:
I'm so glad you got that back up!
Jim:
I got to stay with Dave on my last trip to Oregon and these speakers sounded great.
If I had the time, money and inclination, I wouldn't mind a set of those myself.
