Are you interested in what the nuts and bolts of flying a sailplane or hang glider is really like? Someone can explain ridge soaring and thermals to you, and you can try it out in a regular flight simulator, but neither of these really tell you what it's like.

This wonderful little java application will show you in a fairly simplified, arcade game sort of way how to fly a glider.

It's unfortunate, but the developer is no longer with us. This is quite a shame, as this is a marvelous little game.
