This Guy is working on life sized walking androids. It's very interesting work as well, he builds robots out of windshield wiper motors, PVC pipe sections, and he uses quite a bit of plywood for the structure (smart man; pound for pound it's stronger than steel).

He's now working on his 7th android project. You can see the very methodically planned nature of his work, each robot is a little better than the last. And how much money did it take Honda to do something similar? I don't even want to know...
