A while back I looked for something like this, and couldn't find it. But then I got an email from a good friend of mine -- you can make your own Enigma, and there's even a kit. It's a fully electronic version, but it looks like it captures the feel (and funkiness) of the original quite well, and is certainly more cool than the paper version floating around. I want one..

And I'll probably get one...

But then of course, I would have to make a funky modern replica of a U-boat radio room to go with it... Hmmm..

Oh, and I forgot to mention, there's a guy who's building a real replica -- right down to casting his own plastic pieces for the plug board, it's Amazing. And I don't use that word lightly.
