The reason I linked the conic section development link below was because I wanted to make a card model, which is getting close to finished. Heck, I've even got commercial interest in it already (Chip at Fiddler's Green seems to be happy enough with it, I just need to make it look like a FG model.)

Oh, and what the hell is that thing? It's the Ames Dryden AD-1! Designed by Burt Rutan in the late 70's, it was built to test out an idea for a simplified swing wing system. Yes it flew, and no it didn't crash.
