There's a very nice set of articles on owning old cars (especially in the UK, but lots of good general advice...) to be found here. I especially like the article on 50's 'specials', and the one about the experience of driving older cars; very well written.

Yes... it's part of the manufacturing process. Just the right carbon to iron ratio to make it stainless.
Painting a DeLorean borders on sacrilege.
Naturally, I had to look at the Ford Prefect.
I would also like to get my hands on the brainchild who painted a DeLorean!
