Here's a page detailing the construction of Mikalak's Vector design (scroll down, the link doesn't work...). It's a 15 foot sailboat, a rather simple design, but it has a nice shape to the hull I think.

I would guess that its a pretty fast boat in the right conditions, certainly for a boat with a gaff sail.
