Soap Box Car!
Date: Sun, June 11, 2006
The soap box car that my friends and I are building now has a home on the intarweb, take a look! Marvel at the 23" motorcycle wheels we found (aren't they awesome?)
Just today, we got started on the last bulkhead (but by far the trickiest). My design seems to be working out, although I've certainly changed a few things since the beginning. the basic shape has stayed the same though.
It will be nice to switch to metal work soon, we've been working on the wood body for several weeks, and it's getting time to move on to something else.

Dave:
hehe, updates will happen. We work on the car just about every Sunday, and we haven't hit a real snag yet. I need to start looking for a steering rack, something from a small economy car of the 80's will probably work just fine.
Isn't the Viagra clock awesome? He also has quite a bit of cool railroad stuff as well (he works for Southern Pacific I believe...)
