Vintage Projects

I just tripped across this website while looking for a bending break project to link to. They are reprinting several of the cool old plans that were in the various Mechanix Illustrated/Popular Mechanics/Pop* Mec* Sci* type magazines from the 30's through the 60's. Great idea for a website, and certainly of interest.
Oh, and for more vintage DIY magazine goodness, go to the Modern Mechanix Blog, also definately worth the wasting of an hour or so.

Jim: An hour or so? How about an entire evening? The Modern Mechanix Blog is terribly addictive to those of us who like our tech served with a retro flair!
Dave: My mother in law has a 10 volume set (well, something like that, at least 6 or so anyway..) of reprints from old Mechanix magazines, gives me something to do when I'm at her house.. :)
