Violin Building

The author of this website has as many varied and contrasting interests as I do. The site is primarily about violin building, but he is also interested in painting and flying as well. Brings to mind a poem by Robert Heinlien that I declare to be the official poem of BuildDiary.Net:
A human being
should be able to change a diaper,
plan an invasion,
butcher a hog,
conn a ship,
design a building,
write a sonnet,
balance accounts,
build a wall,
set a bone,
comfort the dying,
take orders,
give orders,
cooperate,
act alone,
solve equations,
analyze a new problem,
pitch manure,
program a computer,
cook a tasty meal,
fight efficiently,
die gallantly.
Specialization is for insects.
A human being

Tisk tisk tisk. No flare at all. The poem should be something along the lines of:
A human beings should be able to
change a diaper while wearing a smile,
plan an invasion while wearing a frown,
butcher a hog to plese their spouse,
con a ship while....
you get the idea. The whole point is to be able to sing it while slapping your leg and having, as our glorious president would say, "a good old time".
Specialization is for humans too, everyone just needs to have a basic idea about everything else. The ones who don't.... well.... we don't talk about them.
