This airshow act was incredible. They have a wingwalker, who gets up on the wing, then they land the helicopter on the wing, and transfer the wingwalker from the airplane to the helicopter. And they did this. On a gusty day.

When we got tired of looking at airplanes, we sat down near the warbirds taxiway. This is a P-51 painted like Bud Anderson's airplane. I like how it's conviently framed.

Here's one of those "put 4 completely different warbirds in the air at once and make it a tribute to something" displays. The F4 belongs to a target drone squadron.

This is a Wittman Tailwind. The Oshkosh airport is named after the designer. If I ever build a 2nd airplane, this one is definately a contender.

A Junkers Ju-52 and... a Taylorcraft? There must be something poetic to say here, but I'm not sure what it is, they are a bit mismatched aren't they?

Here's a formation of RV's. Designed by local Curmudgeon Dick Van Grunsven. Travis works just down the road from their hangar at Aurora Airport. The second picture is the last one I took at Oshkosh. Goodbye Airshow Mecca, so long...
