I wrote an article about the Bugatti for Builddiary.net, so I was very anxious to see it in person. It was even cooler than I imagined it. It looks exactly like something from a late 30's science fiction magazine cover. I have to wonder if the thing would have ever flown without crashing, or bludgeoning the pilot to death -- shaft driven propellers always cause development problems. Certainly one of the oddest "what-if's" in the world of bizarre airplanes.
