Step 3 - Clamping the pages

I was kind of stumped here, because I needed to find a way to clamp the paper together, then balance the whole mess with spine up so I can cover it evenly with glue. Bounce the pages up and down until the are as lined up as possible, line up the cardboard strips on the outside edges, then clamp it all together.

I was very careful here, because this step will affect the professional look of the notebook, and beyond this point, there isn't a lot that can be done to fix it if it is sloppy. I just used two scrap pieces of MDF that Dave had leftover from his last speaker project, and clamped the pages between them using some really expensive clamps. At least Dave said they were expensive. Make sure to take your time to get all the pages aligned correctly in the clamp.
