Anyone who has read much of anything I've done on BuildDiary.net knows I've gotten into ham radio in a big way.

But you also know I'm cheap! And I like the fun of building my own equipment. Fortunately, there are still companies that make kits for the do-it-yourself hams out there. One such company is Ramsey Electronics.

I ordered their HR20C 20-Meter QRP Receiver Kit. It hasn't arrived as of this writing but I'm going to keep a log from opening the box to completion (successful, I hope). One of my buddies, Joe, is getting the same kit and, if all goes as planned, we're going to work on them together.
