It is my wife Becky's fault. She is the one that accused me of having another woman in my life and she yelled one day, "Go, spend your time with Thelma Lou." Remember Don Knott's character Barnie on the Andy Griffith's show? Barnie's girlfriend was Thelma Lou. Becky has since fussed about me asking her to buy gifts for the "other woman" for Christmas. She thinks it is enough that she is living in the other end of the house let alone me having the audacity to ask her to support me in spending inordinate amounts of time with her and providing me with gifts for her. We (Becky and I) still continue to cohabitate in reasonable peace except when I am glassing one of Thelma's parts (with vinyl ester resin). Then my wife yells, "You are going to kill us with that smell and then you can live alone with 'her.
