I think his head was about to explode...
Our friend John Bouyea won a ride in a P-51 at the show. Naturally he wanted pictorial evidence of this coup.
We were told the plane was "Old Red Nose", and that it was parked in the warbirds area. We wandered all over the warbirds area, absolutely no plane was marked with "Old Red Nose" on the side, and plenty of P-51's with red noses. All the P-51's were parked in a group (they call it 'Area-51', haha), and we wandered all over the warbirds area trying to find John and the P-51. We eventually got him on the phone, which just added to the confusion. "I'm over next to the warbirds control tower!", then he wasn't there, etc etc etc... Eventually we tracked him down, and John didn't know where the plane was either.
John called the owner, and eventually we found the right P-51, and we got to see him taxi away.
Dirty Rat Bastard.
