This was quite a coup, I managed to get pictures of Langford's plane, I think he was only at Oshkosh for a day or so. Our friend John from Flightprep was quite jealous (he's building a KR-2).
The true bread and butter of Oshkosh; everything else is just a production plane.
I have pledged to someday have my own plane amongst the throng, and damnit it'll happen! Even if I have to trailer the thing to Brodhead, put the wings on there, then fly in to Oshkosh, take the wings off, and trailer it back to Oregon.
Dan Koster fell in love with Quickies (and then Dragonflies) while we were at the show. I could watch the wheels turn in his head. Then he saw Bruce King's plane, and heard the magic words "under 10 grand", and then I could really see the wheels turning.. ;)
I really like the paint job, especially the stripe. Classy
