This is a neat little airplane, I really like the tail. Plans are available, and they have a pretty little biplane available as well.
Nice.
The true bread and butter of Oshkosh; everything else is just a production plane.
I have pledged to someday have my own plane amongst the throng, and damnit it'll happen! Even if I have to trailer the thing to Brodhead, put the wings on there, then fly in to Oshkosh, take the wings off, and trailer it back to Oregon.

This is a kit from a new company that's basically selling an airframe that you can build as a biplane, low wing or parasol. Really expensive, and I didn't understand it until I saw it. Very solid construction and looks like a nice design. Expensive though, see also their bicycles under the miscellaneous category.
Also, it seems like they've only built the low wing version, and everything else is speculative. They seem to be advertising stuff they haven't built yet.
The guy behind the company is wonderfully italian.
I was poking around the Steve Whitman exhibit at pioneer field, when Cecilia came up to me and said, "I have found someone you have to meet."
"But dear, This is interesting..."
She starts tugging on my arm.
"Ok, Ok, enough already."
She takes me in to the next building, were there's a Flying Flea display. It's 80+ year old owner is holding forth on the flying qualities of the Flea.
Heaven.
I have a good wife.
Strike that, I have an awesome wife.
I assume the owner is Frank Easton, some more information on this particular Pou du Ciel can be found here. He likes them, but says you have to learn different habits from flying conventional aircraft.
This is a Nexus Mustang, which is a new design, similar to a Midget Mustang/Mustang II, but with tandem seating. Very sleek, and it looks like plans are now available.
